The Greening of Third Ward & Beyond 2026 is a community-driven initiative focused on expanding access to locally grown food, teaching gardening best practices and food-production methods, and supporting the farmers, growers, and community members who make a stronger local food system possible. We believe in helping more families grow their own food while also creating stronger, more consistent support for local producers, particularly African American farmers, ranchers, growers, and agricultural businesses.

Pat “Shui” Guillory will be presenting on mushroom cultivation and the uses of “waste” material from mushroom growing to regenerate soil to improve yields in your garden.

Benjamin and Farris will also have a booth where you can learn more, support us with some branded merch and be the first to experience our seasonal spice blends!
